Food is one of the most critical factors in a successful remote camp operation and our reputation for providing delicious meals is well deserved.

Taiga Ventures can provide catering staff to include head chefs, prep cooks and housekeepers; all are certified by the State of Alaska with Food Safety Cards and backed by a Certified Food Manager.

We provide project management support in regards to permitting, logistics, and scheduling throughout all phases of the project including contracting, mobilization/logistics, operations, and demobilization.

Taiga’s camp manager reports to the project manager and is the clients’ on-site liaison throughout the operations portion of the project. Our camp managers not only ensure a safe and comfortable camp environment but also supervision for the catering and housekeeping staff.

Other duties involve daily fueling, incinerating of trash, receiving grocery and supply orders, and freshwater and graywater operations just to name a few.

Another factor of a successful remote camp is the cleanliness of the camp.

Our housekeepers provide daily custodial service for all common areas to include the kitchen/diner, shower/laundry, and trash removal. Weekly custodial services include linen change of customer sleeping areas and sweeping.

Taiga maintains a diverse fleet of vehicles to meet our customers needs. We have 24’ flatbeds, tilt deck trucks for rolling equipment, F350’s for rent, 4×4 Vans, and mini vans for local expediting.

We support our clients projects in all remote locations, whether a pallet of drilling mud is requested for delivery or a bag of groceries is needed to be shopped and delivered to a local air carrier. We can do it all!
